Hey, hey, hey!

Have any of you tried any products from ColourPop Cosmetics, yet?! I know I am a little late to the game but I just placed my first order and I am pumped to give you all a review on the lippies I got!

The first thing I jumped to order was the Ultra Matte Lip in Lumiere 2. I had heard great things about the Ultra Matte Lippies but I had always heard they were drying. With they reformulated and I heard nothing but RAVE reviews I knew I had to try it. The color is perfection. It is a grayish-purple color and is very comfortable on the lips. It is definitely the boldest of the bunch but I still love it!

The second thing I tried was the ColourPop Lippies in the shades Aquarius, Frida and I Heart This. They are each so different but I am so impressed by each one. The formulation is so smooth and moisturizing. Even the matte shade is comfortable. The other thing I really like about them is that they wear off so evenly. If you have ever read a review of mine on any lip products, that is a BIG deal to me. I am a teacher so I can not spend all day reapplying my lip products. I also do not want to be walking around like a crazy person with weird patches of lip product every where.

My favorite of the bunch is Aquarius. Maybe that’s because I am an aquarius myself or maybe it's because it is the most perfect nude shade ever. It is a creme finish that is the perfect middle ground between matte and satin. It is so ridiculously comfortable and I get compliments on it every.single.time I wear it! This is also a shade I have never heard anyone talk about so I was a little nervous but I ended up being veryyyy pleasantly surprised!

Frida was one shade I knew I had to have. First of all, my girl Coffee Break with Dani is the one who created this beautiful shade. I love her, so naturally I love her creation as well! Frida is a bit warmer than Aquarius but it is still a wonderful nude shade. It has a pinky undertone and it’s satin finish is so nice!

The last shade I chose was I Heart This. This is probably my least favorite of the bunch but that is probably only because it is way out of my comfort zone! If I go for a bold lip, I go for a more mauve or brown shade. I very rarely wear red. But since these lippie’s are so inexpensive, I thought it would be a good idea to invest in a red in case I ever wanted to step outside the box! This matte red is very comfortable on the lips and has a nice pink undertone so it is very flattering!

Overall, I am super pleased with everything I ordered! I am happy to have jumped on the ColourPop train and I cannot wait to try more! Eeeeekkk!!
