Hey, hey, hey!

This weekend, as I wandered around the mall doing a little birthday shopping, I was surprised to see that they had opened a Lush store! To say I was excited is an understatement! I have watched oodles of Lush hauls on YouTube and I have admired their products via the internet all while wishing ‘smellovision’ was a real thing!

The minute I walked into the colorfully, earthy store, I was like a kid in a candy store! I literally roamed and sampled and smelt and lusted after all of their products for over an hour. Since it was my birthday, and I was feeling a little adventurous, I decided to go ahead and just bite the bullet. I broke down and bought the $27 dollar shampoo. What?! Like, I don’t even like to wash my hair. Yet I spent 30 bucks on shampoo. If anyone asks … my ‘birthday girl’ syndrome really got to me. Not only did I buy the expensive shampoo … I bought all of the things! And now I am going to share them with you!

1. First up, the main event. The pricey “Big” shampoo itself. This product claims to not only deeply clean your hair but to also leave your hair with lots of volume after you use it! It definitely delivers, too. I have super fine, limp hair and the first time I used this, it worked like a charm. I typically wash my hair at night and by the morning it is flat and nasty. This time, though, I washed it like normal, slept on it and woke up with a head full of hair that looked like it had just recently been washed. Glory Hallelujah!

2. So you see, I have this thing with dry shampoo. It is kind of my addiction. I am on the ultimate quest to find the perfect dry shampoo at a reasonable price. When I saw the glorious site of a natural dry shampoo, in powder form, that also worked (a salesgirl demonstrated on her hair for me!), I was SOLD.

3. My lips and I are constantly in a battle. I try 17 things to make them soft and supple so I can wear that perfect matte liquid lipstick. It is all to no avail, though. Until I found this beauty. It’s pink, it has hearts in it and it tastes like salted carmel. Does it get any better?! I think not.

4. I am a newbie when it comes to bath bombs. The colorful sight and intoxicating smell of them, though, made it impossible to leave without some. I ended up buy 2 different ones. I bought the Honey Bee and the Butterball bath bomb. They both have slight clean smells, along with being kind of vanilla-ish and just all around lovely. I have not tried them in my bath yet, but I will be sure to update you when I do!
{Honey Bee}

{Butterball}

So .. I am an official Lush convert. I’m obsessed and I feel like there is no turning back now! Have you ever tried anything from Lush?? If so, what’s your favorite?! I need new recommendations to feed my new addiction!
