Hey girls!
So the holiday's are over and I am sitting here trying not to cry into my Santa mug full of coffee. Post holiday depression is real y’all. So real. In order to distract myself from the sad reality that is the end of the Christmas season, I am putting together my very first Make Me Up Monday! On Make Me Up Monday’s I will post both my favorite products that I will be using that week and also new products I want to try out! Think Jessica Braun’s Everyday Makeup Drawer video (because who doesn’t love her videos?!) but in blog form! Nothing cheers me up quite like buying and gushing over makeup of any kind! Drugstore, high end, hidden gems, etc. This is a discrimination free zone here, ladies. I love it allllllll. Maybe a little too much. But is that really possible?? I think not. Ok, internal conversation over. Moving on to the goodies …. 

Maybelline Fit Me Dewy and Smooth


First up today is a new foundation that us dry skinned girls will drool over. I have heard rave reviews on YouTube about the Maybelline Fit Me Matte and Poreless foundation but I have not heard much hype on its sister foundation for those wanting dewy, glowy skin all year long. Well, luckily, this little gem was on sale at the grocery store the other day and the price was just too good to pass up! This foundation is amazing! If you are looking for a lightweight and medium coverage foundation that actually does what it claims to do (aka make you look like my girl J.Lo! Holla!) then this baby is for you! It is long wearing, doesn’t break me out and I feel like I have finally got my glow back.

Wet n Wild Lipstick in “Bare It All”



I am finally riding the bandwagon, y'all. I have avoided it, debated it, stared at it for far too long in the aisle of my local Walgreens and this week, I finally surrendered. Thank the good Lord that I did, too. This extremely affordable lipstick is not only beautiful, on trend (hello, Kylie Jenner lip) and totally matte but it is so long wearing yet totally comfortable on the lips! Oh, and an added bonus …  it wears off so well! (We all know the struggle of the splotchy matte lip that happens around your 3rd diet coke of the day. Not cute.) That is a huge selling point for me so just had to add that tid bit. I cannot wait to try more colors from the range … I’m an official convert. Ha

Buxom Full-On Lip Cream in “Pink Lady”


I swatched this baby in Sephora and immediately knew it had to be mine. It came in one of their Christmas sets but I was trying to be frugal (emphasis on trying here) so I decided to save the extra 20 bucks or whatever it was and just order the single gloss. Buxom lipglosses are at the top of my list because of their moisturizing and minty quality already, but the baby pink tint to this one was just too good for me to pass up. I have been dying to find a baby pink lip that actually works on my pale girl skin. I have made a lot of attempts and failed miserably (here’s looking at you Jordana Matte lipstick in ) But not only is this gloss moisturizing, it isn’t sticky either! Whoop! So you can avoid the awkward hair stuck in mouth situation that we all know happens far too often. #longhairdontcare

Nars Laguna Bronzer

This is a tried and true love of many beauty fanatics but I have only really started to love it in the past few weeks. It has replaced my everyday contour routine for this glowy goodness and I am loving the natural look it gives while still adding some definition! This one is definitely worth the price, girls. Promise.


Morphe Deluxe Buffer MB39


This one was a game changer, girls. I have been a beauty blender fanatic since the day I got mine. Everyday, y'all. Errrrry day. UNTIL I saw this beauty on Hautelook and was like, YES. Just, yes. It is so soft, does not soak up a ton of product and actually gives you a natural and completely buffed in foundation base. I use it with my cream highlighter as well sometimes and it works like a dream. My piece of advice? Got get you one. STAT.
